The last in the Paris post series took its time. Not because the dining memories of Paris are not vivid in our minds. Because we didn’t have the time to go through the photos and the restaurant notes we made.
Dining out in Paris is always like being in a movie. At least for me. There are the grand and the small brasseries. The posh restaurants and the small bistros. The hidden gems and those where all the tourists go. I love going out for dinner in Paris! This time around we didn’t follow any guidance except our own feet – we walked the neighbourhood we stayed in and peaked inside the restaurants, looked at their food and wine menu, judged if locals are eating there or not … and made our choice.
We finally stopped at Victor, a small bistro in the 16th arrondisement, which had lovely food and a great wine list. Inside a mix of regulars and tourists visiting the areas (the restaurant is walking distance, although not close, to Trocadero) made the restaurant feel buzzy. And we loved it!
This is part 3 and the final one of 3 on Paris impressions: lunches, drinks and dinners.
