When you get invited for a lunch at Les Eleveurs, eating food prepared and paired with Aligote wines by Andy de Brouwer, would you: a) say yes immediately, because you love food, are intrigued by Les Eleveurs (although … gasp! … it is not in Brussels) and Bourgogne wines are your favourite? b) decline, because you are on a pre-Christmas diet?
As much a Brussels institution as they come. I was introduced to A La Mort Subite in the first week of my arrival in Brussels (eons ago) and have loved this place ever since. And what is not to love about Belgian #beer and food?

You have noticed by now my love for the beautiful Brussels art nouveau architecture, both on the blog and on instagram (btw are you following us? we are a lot more active there these days…). One such gem is the Solvay House, which is a truly stunning example of Horta’s art nouveau.
Taking up our good Brussels habits, we recently had brunch at La Fabrique the original so to speak, on the Place Chatelaine. I have been reading for a while about this brunch place and although I passed numerous times by never made it. Big mistake! The brunch buffet is amazing and the place is beautifully cozy. Missed us? We missed you! It has been a while … and although we were busy on Instagram and FB, our foodie news on the blog were a bit slow over the summer. Well that is about to change! We redesigned the blog (like it), and overall had a very blog-productive summer. Right!
